You may be able to use your FSA/HSA dollars towards our coaching services for individuals.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) provide the opportunity for you to pay for qualified medical expenses that insurance doesn't cover with income that is not taxed.
Coaching services are eligible under the qualified medical expense categories of: Health + Wellness Coaching and Lessons.
HOW TO USE YOUR HSA/FSA

Step 1
Contact your HSA or FSA Benefit Specialist or Administrator to find out if you are eligible to be reimbursed for Health + Wellness Coaching.

Step 2
Ask your physician to complete a Letter of Medical Necessity or write a prescription indicating you coaching sessions are part of a treatment plan for a specific medical condition, which could include anxiety, exhaustion, depression, and ADHD.

Step 3
Print and submit your payment receipts for reimbursement to your Insurance Company.

WHAT CAN I PURCHASE WITH MY FSA, HRA OR HSA?
You can use your card to pay for your Introductory Coaching Session and Private Coaching services.
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA) allow you to put aside pre-tax money to use on certain eligible out-of-pocket health care costs.
Out-of-pocket costs of health and wellness coaching services are a qualified medical expense if your doctor recommends services for treatment or prevention of a specific condition--
(including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, OCD, obesity) the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) allows you to use funds from your pre-tax accounts such as your FSA or HSA to pay with tax-free dollars under Section 213.
CAN I GET REIMBURSED THROUGH MY HEALTH INSURANCE?
Possibly. Under Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes approved by the American Medical Association (AMA) for Health and Wellness Coaching prescribed by a physician may be eligible for medical reimbursement with certain types of insurance.
Check with your provider to see if your plan includes the CPT codes:
0591T, 0592T and/or 0593T
DO I NEED TO CONACT MY DOCTOR OR FSA/HSA ADMINISTRATOR FIRST?
That's up to you. We cannot guarantee that your purchase is a qualified medical expense. If you submit for FSA/HSA reimbursement, you acknowledge that you are responsible for determining whether this purchase will be a qualified medical expense, for submitting any and all required information to the IRS, and for any penalties you may receive as a result.
